What it means
The Layer 1 Agent is EndLayer's guardian agent for laptops and servers. It finds the AI on the machine, understands how it is used and applies your policy, all from one install.
It runs as the signed-in user, never asks for admin rights and never runs the tools it finds. IT rolls it out with the MDM tools it already uses.
Why it matters
One agent per device keeps rollout simple and means every decision rests on the same evidence.
