What it means
A guardian agent is the opposite of a network gateway. It runs on the machine itself, so it can see desktop apps, coding agents and local models that never pass through a central checkpoint.
In EndLayer the guardian agent on each device is the Layer 1 Agent.
Why it matters
Most AI use never crosses the network controls a company already owns. A guardian agent closes that gap.
