What it means
Govern grades every device against your policy, gives risky items an owner, and carries out guardrails such as warn, redact or block on the machine.
Every result names the policy version behind it, so the evidence still makes sense months later.
Why it matters
Rules only matter if they are applied and can be shown to an auditor. Govern does both.
